How to use the password generator

This generator creates random passwords directly in your browser. You can choose the length, the number of results and the character types you want to include: lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers and symbols.

You can also avoid ambiguous characters, which are characters that look similar and may cause confusion when copied or typed, such as 0, O, l, I or 1.

Good practices

  • Use long passwords, preferably 16 characters or more.
  • Do not reuse the same password across multiple sites.
  • Store your passwords in a trusted password manager.
  • Enable two-factor authentication when available.

Privacy

Passwords are generated locally in your browser using browser randomness. SWS Universe does not receive, store or see the generated passwords.
