Fast local conversion without uploading files

This image converter runs directly in your browser. When you select a JPG, PNG or WEBP file, the image is loaded locally and processed with JavaScript using browser capabilities. That makes it possible to change format, adjust quality, resize the image and download the result without sending the file to our server.

The tool is useful when you need to quickly change an image format for a website, email, document, file-size reduction or when you need to convert a WEBP file into a more compatible format such as JPG or PNG.

Available formats

• JPG: recommended for photos and images with many colors. It uses compression and usually creates smaller files.
• PNG: useful for screenshots, graphics, sharp edges or when you need to preserve transparency.
• WEBP: a modern web format. It can reduce file size while keeping good visual quality.

Conversion options

• JPG/WEBP quality: lets you reduce file size by adjusting compression.
• Resolution: you can enter a new width, height or both to resize the image.
• Keep aspect ratio: prevents image distortion when resizing.
• Background for transparency: used when converting a transparent image to JPG, because JPG does not support transparency.

Privacy

Images are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to SWS Universe for conversion. If you close the page or reset the tool, the selected files are no longer available in the session.
